Mastzell-Aktivierungssyndrom ( MACS ) und Histaminose

Mastzell activation syndrome (Macs) and histaminosis

Mast cells belong to the immune system and occur in all body fabrics, especially in the mucous membranes of the airways, the gastrointestinal tract and near blood vessels and nerve fibers. They react to intruders from outside such as food, pathogens and toxins and alert the immune system if there is a risk.

Macs and histaminosis often come together!

For example, mast cells can overreact for infections or after vaccinations. They then freely release inflammatory mediators, such as histamine, TNF-Alpha, interleukin 1+6, and much more.

Before Covid, about 17 % of the population were affected by Macs, at the moment it is about 25 % without the non -diagnosed patients!

The number of those affected has increased significantly due to the covid infection or after vaccination. Clinical observations show that around 75% of the chronically ill people are now affected by Macs.

It is often found that the intestinal microbioma of these patients has deteriorated very much, especially the bifidobacteria have decreased significantly. This is not without consequences for a healthy intestinal flora and thus for the immune system, hormone formation and the entire digestive performance. A stool examination is advisable before you go to an intestinal renovation.

What symptoms can occur with Macs?

⚡Respiratory tract: Shortness, swelling of the throat, sleep apnea

⚡Skin: Reddening, itching, burning

⚡Gastrointestinal tract: Diarrhea, nausea, flatulence, abdominal pain, food intolerance, lack of appetite

⚡Neurological symptoms: Forgetfulness, brain fog, headache, depression, neuropathies, fear of fear

⚡Cardiovascular system: Dizziness, rapid heartbeat, fainting

⚡Otherwise: Allergies, fatigue, CFS syndrome, chemical sensitivity, bone and muscle pain, hormone disorders

Mcas trigger can be:

  • Mold
  • Toxine
  • Allergens
  • Pollen + dust
  • Infections
  • Temperature fluctuations
  • Insect bites
  • Smells
  • histamine
  • Salicylic acid
  • Oxalic acid
  • Lectins
  • Medicines + nutritional supplements
  • Reactions to probiotics, stress, alcohol and others

Diagnosis:

In 2016, Macs was officially recognized as a medical diagnosis. However, far too few doctors and therapists are still familiar with the disease. However, a guide for doctors and patients was developed who can help with the diagnosis of Macs. Here you will find the link to the questionnaire, which you can also take with you to your doctor / therapist.

Various laboratory tests can help with the diagnosis, but are not meaningful enough.

The patient's medical history, his toxin pollution, sensitive reactions to medication, NEMs, food, probiotics + herbs, as well as unusually large number of chronic, allergic and inflammatory symptoms in different body systems provide important information on Macs.

As multi -layered as the disease itself is, the therapy is so complex. The measures include:

  • Identification and dismantling of the causes and trigger (avoid poisons & radiation, alcohol, mold, professional detoxification, etc.)
  • Change of nutrition, avoid histamine -rich food + histamine liberators, observe intolerances, drink good water
  • Calaging the nervous system, avoid stress (e.g. Gupa program)
  • Soiling the mast cells by NEMs & medication such as corresponding herbs or natural substances (as far as compatible): quercetin, resveratrol, enzyme dao, vitamin D+a, zinc and others.

Caution In Macs, nutritional supplements, probiotics and herbs are often not well tolerated and can have counterproductive effects or the symptoms deteriorate!

Prescription drugs would be e.g. H1/H2 Blocker, keto tables, gastrocrom (cromoglicic acid)

In my opinion, expert therapy support is absolutely possible, often also possible as online advice or coaching!   Experts for mitochondria therapy, intestinal therapists, holistically oriented doctors/therapists are considered. You can find a selection of addresses below.

Otherwise, it is important to strengthen the self -healing powers: to involve the intestine, to fill nutrients, to stimulate energy metabolism, to optimize sleep, to ensure movement in the fresh air and to avoid poisons in everyday life!
