Our story
Hello! We are Thomas and Michaela - researchers, visionaries, discoverers, encouragers, health advisors and lovers of good and healthy food. And even affected by intolerances, especially histamine intolerance.
But not only that, one of our greatest passions is to educate other people about the topic of health in all its facets. That's why you'll also find a lot of information about histamine intolerance. In our blog we report on the latest news on histamine intolerance, intestinal health, acid-base balance and give practical tips for a healthy lifestyle despite intolerances.
We are pleased that you are interested in our own story. And that's why we'd like to tell you about it right away.
How it all began...
And once again I spent what felt like hours doing my weekly shopping. Since being diagnosed with histamine intolerance and gluten sensitivity at the age of 35, meticulously studying ingredient lists when shopping has simply been a part of life. And that just took time. Frustrated, I put the cake mix back on the shelf. Unfortunately there was something incompatible here again and I came away empty-handed again. Shopping became increasingly difficult as my digestion somehow struggled with everything I ate. Another hurdle was that all foods had to be low in histamine AND gluten-free. At that time it was an almost impossible task. And so I was left with just a few foods for a long time and lost kilo after kilo.
When I talked to my husband Thomas about my frustrating shopping experience, we suddenly had THE idea: We would develop low-histamine and gluten-free foods ourselves to finally put an end to this situation. That was the birth of histaminics.
The first products were developed...
Funnily enough, it actually took us about 9 months to finally bring the “child” into the world. We worked on our first products for a long time. We had to overcome a few hurdles and realize that developing food wasn't that easy.
But we were all the happier when we were able to bring the first baking mixes and spice mixtures onto the market. Since then we have been continuously working on further product developments.
In everything we do, it is important to us to be in close contact with those affected, our customers, doctors and therapists. This is the only way we can offer a holistic solution for people with histamine intolerance, be it with low-histamine products, information, help and lots of encouragement.
We know that the diagnosis of histamine intolerance can be very overwhelming at first. But we want to encourage you to stick with it and not let setbacks stop you. We would be happy to support you.

Our mission
You are what you eat. Our mission is to develop delicious foods based on our own recipes that are not only low in histamine and gluten-free, but also taste really delicious. A unique and varied taste is extremely important for us as we are little foodies ourselves. We want to constantly develop our product range and surprise our customers again and again with great new products. While you enjoy our delicious products, we also want to give you expert knowledge so that you can find the causes of your intolerance and greatly improve your quality of life.
