The liver from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) belongs to the element wood and in the season of spring, according to the 5 elements.
It is closely linked to the emotions of anger, anger and frustration. If these conditions are constantly suppressed, the liver qi stagnation or blood stagnation occurs.

The organ clock after the TCM
A clear sign of a liver disease is waking up between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. During these hours the liver is the most active time, usually at our deep sleep time.
The Chinese organ clock assigns every time of the day or night to a certain organ and is therefore an important component for diagnostics, and have been created for thousands of years by closing the health complaints in the day and night path.
In the meantime, the organ clock in the western world is also accepted, especially because the connections have often been confirmed.
Each organ with its corresponding functional group is particularly well supplied with Qi (life energy) for 2 hours a day and can optimally master its tasks during this time (maximum time).
Exactly 12 hours later the organs then have their low point, i.e. they are only supplied with Qi (minimum time) and are in the resting phase.
11:00 p.m.-1 a.m. = main time of the gallbladder: pulse, blood pressure and cortisol value decrease
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the morning = minimum time
1-3 a.m. at night = the main time of the liver (maximum time): greatest detoxification activity
1pm to 3pm afternoon = minimum time
In order to strengthen liver health according to TCM, as in Western medicine, dieting measures are recommended, movement, relaxation and coping with stress.
These recommendations in TCM are supported with acupuncture, herbal therapy, medicinal mushrooms, Qigong, meridian massages and cupping.
