Ingredients:
Bürgerbrötchen
- 100 ml of lukewarm water
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 1/2 cubes yeast
- 17 g of sugar
- 5 g salt
- Melted 40 g butter
- 250g spelled flour
- 1 egg or 3 quail eggs
- 1 tablespoon of milk
- 1 tablespoon of water
Citizens' patties and topping:
- Hack meat fresh from beef
- Lettuce
- Cuckers cut thinly
- White onion cut into rings
- young gouda in slices
Preparation:
- Mix the lukewarm water with the milk and sugar and yeast.
- Add flour, salt, egg and the melted butter and knead vigorously.
- Let the dough go for about 1 hour.
- Then shape 5 burger rolls of 90 g each and place on a baking sheet.
- Let the rolls go for another hour.
- Mix the milk with water and carefully brush the rolls.
- Bake in the oven at 200 ° C (top and bottom heat) for 20 minutes.
- Form patties from the minced meat and salt from both sides (approx. 100 g).
- Heat the fat in a pan and fry the patties vigorously and let it fry over medium heat.
- Take the burger rolls with lettuce, minced meat patty, cucumber, peppers and cheese.
I often make a sauce mixed out of cream cheese and cream. With this you can lubricate the rolls. Or you put some beetroot ketchup on top. It also tastes very tasty.
