Pudding bunnies

They are not only a great treat at Easter. Our sweet pudding bunnies taste good all year round. The preparation is very easy, so you can also bake it for short -term appointments - for example for a spontaneous coffee afternoon.

 

Ingredients:

For the dough:

For the filling:

  • Pudding powder (real vanilla, without flavors)

Aside from that:

  • 1 egg yolk 
  • Paranese

 

Preparation:

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the dough and process it into a smooth dough.
  2. Divide the dough into 8 balls (depending on the desired size of the rabbits) and shape into about 50 cm long rolls.
  3. Prepare the pudding according to the package instructions.
  4. Now form the dough rollers into rabbits by twisting the ends twice. It is important that a large hole for pudding is created. Then place on a baking sheet with baking paper.
  5. Fill the resulting hole with the prepared pudding.
  6. Now whisk the egg yolk and brush the dough with it. Optionally, paranese can now be hacked and distributed on the dough.
  7. Then bake at 180 degrees for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let the rabbits cool well before taking them off the sheet, otherwise the pudding will fall out of the dough hole!
