Tunnel confection
Recipe idea with the tunnel spice for about 20 pieces of confectionery
Ingredients:
- 250 ml apple juice
- 35 g of dried raisins (unwrested)
- 35 g of dried apricots (unwrested)
- 20 g of dried apple pieces
- 75 g butter
- 80 g of sugar
- 250 g spelled flour
- 150 g curk
- 1 egg (or 3-4 quail eggs)
- A pinch of rock salt
- 4 TL tunnel spice
- 10 g wine stone baking powder
- 50 g chopped Macadamia
To spread:
- some icing sugar
- 80 g butter
Preparation:
✨ To prepare, the dry fruit should be soaked in apple juice for at least 3 hours or overnight. Put both in a bowl and keep in the refrigerator.
✨ As soon as the dried fruit has soaked up long enough, things can go on. Now stir the butter with the sugar until frothy. Then add the curd, the flour, the egg, salt and tunnel spice as well as the baking powder and mix. Now remove the pickled dried fruit from the apple juice and also add. In the last step for the dough, the chopped Macadamia now raise under the dough.
✨ Now place the dough on a baking sheet with baking paper in small piles. An ice creamier is ideal for this. Bake the tunnel confection at 200 degrees upper/bottom heat for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, melt the rest of the butter and provide the powdered sugar. After the baking time, the tunnels are then alternately painted with the liquid butter and sprinkled with powdered sugar, so that a sugar crust is created.
