Suitable body care and cleaning agents in histamine intolerance

Affected people of a hit or MCAS experience a wide variety of individual stimuli who trigger and reinforce their symptoms.

These trigger usually go far beyond unsuitable foods

As trigger, penetrating fragrance, odor and other pollutants are also possible, favoring the stress and activation of mast cells in the body. Some only react somewhat irritated and sensitive to it, others even show allergic reactions. In the worst case, some even suffer from a so -called "multiple chemical sensitivity" - MCS for short.

Particular caution in the ingredients is also required by asthmatics and allergy sufferers.

If you surround yourself too long and too often with lovely fabrics, you run the risk of more mast cells will be activated and that they are increasingly released histamine in the body. This gives way to the symptoms of the HIT and MCAS. It also contains the liver in the long run, which weakens the detoxification performance from the body and the digestive system. Since Histaminics often have problems with functioning detoxification anyway, one does not want to further exhaust this with "false" cosmetics and care.

What do I have to pay attention to?

Frequent Indicators For higher tolerance, products are without ...

  • Perfume or fragrances
  • Dyes
  • Preservatives
  • Parabens
  • Mineral oil
  • essential oils
  • With particularly sensitive: alcohol

A more detailed list of allergy -causing fragrances and alcohols can be found under
https://www.daab.de/haut/kontaktallergie/hauptausloeser/duftstoffe

As with everything, of course, the following applies: trying is about studying. The tolerance limit of fragrances, for example, is individual.

Tested seal

A first assessment of the potential irritation of an article allows certain seals. These seals promise that the product has been tested for the requirements of this certification and corresponds to it. Not all seals test the same things, so you shouldn't rely on the seal. But they are well suited as a source for the first product information.

  • Soda

The seal stands, among other things, for ingredients of natural and biological origin. Natrue does not deal with allergy -friendliness or freedom of perfume, but they already provide information that no artificial substances were used in the product. So if a product only has this seal, you still have to check the rest yourself.

👉🏼Where can I find what?

dm
The drugstore "DM" offers by far the largest perfume-free and low-pollutant range for cosmetics, care products as well as detergent and cleaning agents. DM leads some products with official seals and certifications and has also placed its own other references to peculiarities, such as "clean beauty", "recipe without microplastics" or "without perfume & dyes". Most of them are from the DM own brands Balea, Babylove, think and Alverde.

Rossmann/Müller
With its own brands, "Rossmann" also offers some articles suitable for allergies and intolerances, e.g. from Isana (Med), Alterra Naturkosmetik or Domol. You can also find a few suitable items at "Müller".

Supermarket or discounter
Sometimes you can even be lucky in the supermarket or discounter and find occasional perfume -free and less pollutant -based articles. Keep your eyes open and look for prints or seals. For further information, however, you should examine the other ingredients.

Organic shop
If you are willing to spend a little more money, you can also look in the local health food store. But be careful: organic does not mean better or with HIT. Biocosmetics and organic cleaning agents are also added to potentially irritating substances.

Pharmacy
Articles from the pharmacy are even more expensive - but not always avoidable in people with additional neurodermatitis or specific allergies.

Internet
If this is not enough, you can also use the website https://www.neutrale-produkte.de/de/. Little lovely products of different brands are sold here and can be ordered directly home directly.

Brands and other products that are independent of a certain drugstore chain could be:

  • Sebamed
  • Penaten
  • Lavera, baby & children sensitive
  • Handsan hand soap -free
  • Perfume -free hairspray from Welleplex
  • Perfume -free hairspray from Wella Deluxe
  • Schwarzkopf taffeta pure perfume -free hairspray
  • and much more.

Decorative cosmetics

All drugstores now also have brands that produce suitable decorative cosmetics and make -up items. Often it is natural cosmetics. Unfortunately, some perfume is usually still in here, but the pollutant pollution itself is lower than with other commercially available products and, according to their statement, it is without animal experiments. Here is only a small selection, but there are some more.

  • Alverde Naturkosmetik (DM)
  • Alterra natural cosmetics (Rossmann)
  • Terra Naturi (Müller)
  • Sante
  • Lavera

However, the commercially available cosmetics manufacturers now also have a growing range of sensitive and low -pollutant products. They usually have individual small product series that are sensitive or allergy -friendly and less lovely:

  • Catrice sensitive
  • Essence sensitive
  • Manhattan Clean & Free

All time favorites from the Histaminikus team

Michaela Using only a biological argan oil or after showering like the CREME Extroderm Dado Sens. In terms of body cleaning, she likes to use a base soap and a firm hair soap.

Lilly Has curls and therefore needs more rich hair care, which unfortunately only gets online in perfume -free. For the scalp, however, she is enthusiastic about the Balea Med shampoo Ultra Sensitive. Another darling is the Balea Med Daily cream for the face. To make up for removal, it reaches for a rather medium-priced product with the micelle cleaning fluid for reactive skin from La Roche-Posay. DM also has cheaper alternatives, e.g. Garnier micelle water all-in-1 for sensitive skin or from Balea med the ultra sensitive cleaning milk.
