There is nothing about a homemade cordon bleu. Did you know that the original Cordon Bleu is made with veal schnitzel? But we also like it with fresh turkey meat.
Ingredients: 4 portions
- 4 turkey or veal schnitzel fresh
- 4 slices of young gouda
- 4 slices of turkey ham
- 1-2 egg yolk
- Cornflakes or Dinkelsemmelbrösel or corn chimney crumbs
- Histaminikus herbal salt Mediterran
- Paprika noble sweet
- oil
Preparation:
Remove the schnitzel thoroughly with cold water, dry and knock nice and thin. Season on both sides with herbal salt and paprika. Take the schnitzel on one half with a Gouda slice and a slice of turkey ham. Fold the other half over it and fix with toothpicks.
Now prepare 2 plates: grind the corn flakes on one plate very small or give the breadcrumbs. Whisk egg yolk on the next plate. Wält schnitzel first in egg yolk and then in cornflakes or breadcrumbs. Heat the oil in a pan and place it on a medium level. Fry the schnitzel from both sides until golden yellow. The schnitzel should not be constantly turned. That wanks dry.
